Three years ago I received an email from a kind woman inquiring about horseback riding lessons for her daughter. Little did I know at the time just how important these four people would become to me. Not only is Brynn an amazing rider, she is a phenomenal young woman. Smart, beautiful, driven and kind. And she is one heck of a big sister to miss Ava, who is possibly the happiest little girl you'll ever meet. She is never without an ear-to-ear grin and contagious laugh. And man does that girl have spunk! Over the years I have come to learn that as a photographer, you earn a first row seat into the most intimate parts of people's lives. Consequently, you get rather good at reading them. All I can say is that the love these four share for one another is raw and effortless. It is with great love and sadness that I was able to capture their amazing connection before they move to finally set down roots after 20 years of service and sacrifice to our country.

Ava thinks the sun rises and sets on Brynn and I can't say I blame her. She's a pretty spectacular big sister.

Cheese! I told you she has the best smile. Seriously, you two make me believe in happily ever after.

Jaw on the floor.

Is she not someone you'd want to have a dance party with?!?
